Documentário sobre a estratégia desenvolvida pelo povo Xavante na tentativa de tomar conta de seu território e manter sua tradição com autonomia. O filme, é construído através das histórias pessoais dos jovens índios que foram estudar os costumes dos brancos nas grandes cidades, com objetivo de se tornarem interlocutores de seu povo. Depoimentos emocionantes contam como esse povo consegue manter sua cultura e seu espaço no mundo dos brancos.

Documentary portraying the strategy developed by the Xavante indigenous nation in their attempts to preserve their territory and keep their traditions untouched. This film is based on the personal stories of young men sent to study the customs of Brazilian society in large cities, in order to become the spokespersons for their people. Moving statements tell how the Xavante are absorbing the culture and customs of the ‘whites’ in order to protect their age-old lifestyle through these same tools.
